Stay at Home Lesson # 6: Play Doh Food Sculptures

There is no better time to pull out the Play Doh than on a rainy day. We hadn't used Play Doh in quite some time. We decided to make some Play Doh food sculptures. A sculpture is a type of artwork that is 3 dimensional and pops off the page. When you are creating with Play Doh you are making sculptures.

We can create sculptures out of Legos or any other type of block. A sculpture is a type of artwork that pops off the page or is 3 dimensional. When we are building with blocks, we are creating sculptures.

2nd Gr Model Magic Sculptures

2nd grade students practiced mixing the primary colors together to make the secondary colors. They made coil pots using Model Magic and studied the color wheel.
